SKODA Kamiq in PANEK rental

PANEK Rent a Car has just opened its office in the capital of the Czech Republic – Prague, and the newest SKODA cars have joined the fleet all over Poland. The Kamiq is the third SUV in the SKODA family. It is the smallest, but at the same time very versatile, as it will be perfect both in the city and on long journeys. New SKODA Kamiq cars can be booked at PANEK Rent a Car.

Compact silhouette

With the Kamiq SKODA, it is entering the dynamically developing segment of urban SUVs for the first time. The car combines the most important advantages of cars from this segment, i.e. greater ground clearance and an elevated position behind the wheel. At the same time, it maintains the agility of an urban compact. The smallest SUV continues the design of the elevated models from Mlada Boleslav, but the split headlamps with separate daytime running lights in the upper section provide a new, distinctive visual accent. The name Kamiq, like Kodiaq and Karoq, is derived from the Inuit language of northern Canada and Greenland, and means something that fits perfectly in any situation.

Cozy interior

The cabin will accommodate four adult passengers and a luggage compartment capacity of 400 liters. The trunk is easy to arrange and very roomy. At the same time, the dashboard resembles that of the Scala model, and this is a great advantage, as the new interior design line turns out to be very clear and ergonomic. Everything is in place and the shapes are modern and pleasing to the eye. High-quality finishing materials also attract attention. The front seats are large and very comfortable. Both drivers over 190 cm tall and shorter people will find a comfortable position.

Modern under the hood

Under the hood of the car there is a gasoline, turbocharged engine with a capacity of one liter and 110 HP, in two power variants – 95 and 115 HP, and the 150 HP 1.5-liter engine known from many models of the Volkswagen group. It works in tandem with the DSG 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and handles the acceleration of the city SUV quite efficiently. The engine positively surprises with its working culture and is very quiet. This is a huge advantage for drivers who want to go on a longer journey with SKODA Kamiq from PANEK rental. The fuel consumption on the highway does not exceed 7 l / 100 km.

Proven technique

The latest SUV from the Czech Republic was built on the basis of the Volkswagen Group MQB-A0 platform. The SKODA Kamiq from PANEK rental company, depending on the configuration, can be equipped with up to nine airbags, including a driver’s knee airbag and side airbags at the rear. 80% of the body is made of hot stamped high-strength steel. Basic LED headlights are offered as standard, and some cars have FULL LED headlights with dynamic indicators at the front and rear. Standard equipment includes Lane Assist, Front Assist Emergency Braking with proactive pedestrian protection and city emergency braking, and an anti-collision brake. SmartLink technology is also available for connecting mobile devices via Apple CarPlay, Android Auto or MirrorLink Wi-Fi hotspot.
